The 2020 Gran Fondo Costa Almeria will take place on Saturday 9th May 2020 .
All Things Ride is proud to promote the Gran Fondo Costa Almeria, yearly taking a contingent of British cyclists to the region for the event.
Our packages include accommodation in the fantastic 4* Marina Playa Hotel. The Marina Playa hotel has an unbeatable seafront location in Mojácar Playa. Every year the hotel is chosen by cycling and other sports professionals as a meeting and training place.
International cycling teams such as Rabobank, Bouygues Telecom, Telenet Fidea, Omega Pharma Quick Step, Lotto Belisol Cycling Team, Sajour – Sajon, Phonak o CCC – Polsat Polkowice use the hotel as a base. The hotel has also hosted the Russian teams, Astana, Team Katusha and Rusvelo, amongst others.
Other professional teams such as Movistar, Blanco Pro Cycling Team, Netapp - Endura, Ovita, the Belgian cycling federation and also, the Belgian and Swiss triathlon teams choose this hotel for their winter training.
The Marina Playa hotel has secure bike storage facilities, cycle repair shop and bike wash room.
There is also a sports centre with an indoor heated pool composed of 6 lanes of 25 meters in length and 12.5 meters wide. In addition, it has a gymnasium and courts for basketball, volleyball, handball and indoor football.
After a hard day of training, guests can use the Wellness Centre which is equipped with a professional gym, jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and relaxing and therapeutic massages. It also has an indoor heated pool.
