A UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Dolomites, also known as the "Pale Mountains", are a mountain range located in northeastern Italy. They form a part of the Southern Limestone Alps and sit within the provinces of Belluno, South Tyrol and Trentino.
Epic climbs and descents are numerous. A signature climb that consistently makes the 'Better than Alpe d'Huez climbers' lists is the Passo Giau.
With three days of racing here, all the major climbs are tackled and (hopefully) conquered.
Travelling from the UK, there are three main airports: Venice Marco Polo Airport, Venice Treviso Airport and Innsbruck. They all have regular flights to and from the UK.
Weather, as in all mountainous regions, is unpredictable and likely to change rapidly and with little warning. Bring kit for all seasons and monitor reports regularly.
Local bike hire is also available. Please ask at the time of enquiry
