Starting out in the Spa town of Harrogate, we let you get settled before setting out into the Yorkshire Dales and finishing off in the historic walled city of York. Join one of our Yorkshire Leisure Cycling Tours and experience this fantastic area.

Today is a chance to explore the local area. We recommend an easy route taking in the sights of Fountains Abbey, Ripley Castle and Knaresborough. Then head back to Harrogate. Distance 20-50km depending on your preference. Central town accommodation
We take a leisurely 40km spin to Masham which sits in the beautiful region of Lower Wensleydale. Pronounced 'Massam' this town is wel known for its family-run breweries, annual sheep fair and steam engines. Artists, authors and craftsmen show off the town's creative side and with established links to JW Turner and Lewis Carroll. Local B&B accommodation
We then have you heading south out of Masham to Pateley Bridge which is set in the Nidd Valley. We pass through beautiful scenary via Fountains Abbey, recognised as one of the largest & best preserved ruined Cistercian monasteries in England. Its also a World Heritage site. We also cycle by Brigham Rocks, an amazing collection of natural rock formations with stunning view across Yorkshire. Local B&B accommodation
Today we head east and experience two classic Yorkshire market towns. Firstly, you ride down Nidderdale to Ripon where you definitely need to stop off for a while, stroll round the market square and visit the impressive cathedral. Then it’s on to the overnight stop in Thirsk, right on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. Local B&B accommodation
Enjoy a journey south down through the Vale of York and onto the walled city of York, founded by the ancient Romans. With is many attractions, York is always a popular location. Your hotel is right in the heart of the city and we are happy to recommend some good pubs and restaurants. The route highlights today include York Minster, the Medieval City Walls, the infamous York Dungeon, Jorvik Viking Centre, York Castle museum. Central York accommodation
Today, we offer the option of a City based leisure tour, a Bike & Brew Tour or a ride out into the surrounding countryside. Evening is spent at your leisure. Central York accommodation
Spend your morning in York sightseeing. We recommend the spectacular York Minster, the Medieval City Walls, the infamous York Dungeon or how about Jorvik Viking Centre and the York Castle museum. Alternatively, stroll around this historic city on foot or we can arrange some leisure bikes for you.

We require a £200 per person deposit in order to reserve your Yorkshire Leisure Cycling Tours. Tour require a minimum of 4 clients
The weather can be changeable in Yorkshire regardless of the month so we recommend bringing wet & cold weather gear just in case. You do get up to around 1000 ft of elevation over the course of your Yorkshire Leisure Cycling Tour.
