Following the Hudson River northwards, the course takes you away from the Manhattan Skyline. You pass several parks and suburbs like Palisades, Piermont before tackling Bear Mountain. The shorter distance will finish here whilst the long course brings riders past Harriman State Park, Ramapo and West Nyack.
The finish is at Fort Lee, near George Washington Bridge.

Regular flights are available to New York from all major international airports and it is easy to get into the city in the famous New York yellow cabs.
Weather should be good in May for GFNY New York however we recommend packing warm clothing in case of a cold snap.
