Valencia is one of our favourite places to ride and we are not the only ones. Your  base is in L’Eliana, just outside this famous city.  The legend Alberto Contador has a house with easy access for cycling & training in local beautiful and quiet roads of Serras Calderona and Cazorla. We include some great climbs such as El Garbí, where Contador attacked in the 2017 Vuelta alongside some flat sections through the rice fields of Albufera.

Our local providers know the roads like the back of their hands and have some great routes organised for this weekend. One of the leaders of a local semi-pro team will accompany the group on a Sunday when we’ll ride out for a traditional cyclist’s ‘almuerzo’ (monkey nuts, olives, large sandwich and a beer) on a local club ride.

What really makes this Vuelta Tour special is the timing; You will be in Valencia for Fallas, Valencia’s incredible festival of fireworks and fire. Enjoy the adrenaline rush of a Mascletá, the spectacle of the 300+ Fallas dotted around the city, the amazing light show in Ruzafa, not to mention a paella on the beach. You’ll be staying in a luxury apartment close to the centre of the city, with easy access to the festivities and great bars and restaurants.
