The Hammer Series Stavanger.
The Hammer Series is all about the team. In a revolutionary format, Hammer Series will crown the world's best pro cycling team with three different challenges across three days of afternoon racing: the Hammer Sprint, Hammer Climb and Hammer Chase.
Each event tests the strength in depth of every team. The strongest team will be crowned the best in the world. You will be able to ride in the mornings with our local guides either around the local area or on the Pro courses. Then enjoy the action!
We have exclusive access to teams and hospitality. Additional mass participation events will take place on each day with the objective to bring the fans inside the race and encourage active participation either as a serious rider, a fun sprint experience or a family roll around the course.
Thursday - Arrival & Airport Transfers. Opening Party, City/host events, Team
presentation, Opening of Expo, Fan activities. Alternatively, we can arrange for a local ride around the area to loosen up the legs.
Friday - Morning ride
Pro Race Hammer Climb. Circuit with 7 – 10 sprints at the top of the hill. Compact teams: 5 riders. points systems, clear team standing in results
Saturday - Hammer Classic Sportive on the Pro-Course (45km, 90km and 120km distances available)
Pro Race - Hammer Sprint. Sprint circuit with 10 sprints. Points system with clear team standing in results. Accumulation of points as per Day 1 +2
Sunday - Morning ride
Pro race - Hammer Chase. Team Pursuit circuit of 5 laps. 5 riders per team. Teams start in order of leaderboard after Day 2 with fixed time gaps. First team over line wins
Monday - Airport transfer return

The Stavanger region has many scenic attractions, among them the Lysefjord, Sola beach and the world famous Preikestolen (“the Pulpit Rock”). Preikestolen is located 604 metres above sea level and is the most visited attraction in the county of Rogaland.

The Hammer Series Stavanger races take place in the afternoon so we can recommend cycle trips in the morning.
Stavenger International Airport is the closest one to Hammer Series Stavanger.
Direct flights are available from London, Manchester, Newcastle & Aberdeen. We can arrange airport transfer for you and your bike equipement. The weather can be unpredictable in Norway so we recommend bringing a range of cycling clothing to cover any unexpected weather.
