To take part in Haute Route events you have to get a medical certificate signed by your doctor within the last year from the event date.
As well Haute Route Alpe d’Huez, the area also has a host of bike shops and infrastructure that riders and families alike will appreciate.
The resort is easily accessible from three major airports (Geneva, Lyon and Grenoble), from the Grenoble train station and via the motorway.

Weather should be reasonable during the month of July. However time of day will have an impact on temperature. Extra layers are often advisable for the start, ensuring early morning insulation. We advise you to bring arm & leg warmers for the high mountains and descents.

Local bike hire is available however please let us know at the time of booking!
Most clients prefer to bring their own bikes for Haute Route Alpe d'Huez. Be prepared to use a bike box or have it shipped over. We can assist with both
